| Online Photos Not as Private as Assumed
Depending on the site, there are a number of options as to who can blog, download or print your pictures. "People should look before they leap and spend a little bit of time understanding how a particular site works," Dempsey said. If you add a caption or name a photo, know that the keywords might pop up in a Internet search someday. Google's Picasa, for example, has a "searchable" option for those who want to share their pictures with the world. Photo-sharing Web sites recommend that users test their privacy settings by having a friend try to break into their private photo albums to see if the pictures are thoroughly hidden. "If you don't want the Flickr community to view a photo, take the extra step to make sure the photo is marked as private," Karlsten said.
Lessons our children learn too early
I would suggest checking our list of structure damage online for more help. Many people evacuated not because they sensed imminent danger but because they were just "following the rules". In some areas, where there was never any imminent danger AND there has been power during the entire period, residents are likely to ignore the evac orders next time. Let us in NOW if our homes are undamaged and we still have power. It lets others know that the house is evacuated, and lets the other fire/policemen know they do not have to check that house again for residents.

On Thursday the Nevada Gaming Commission approved Caudill's license to run Binion's Gambling Hall & Hotel, a move that clears the way for him to take control of the historic property sometime in February. Caudill made a deal in June to buy Binion's for $32 million from MTR Gaming Group of Chester, W.Va. .
